World Taichi & Qigong Day/Earth Day

Join us for a free event at 10am on Saturday 25 April to mark World Taichi & Qigong Day and Earth Day. We believe every day should be Earth Day! So we’re going to celebrate by connecting with nature, ourselves and each other. Top end of Beechwood park – look out for the green chair!

Qigong Beneath the Trees at Beechwood Park

It’s time for a mind and body spring clean so we are restarting our outdoor sessions at 10m this Tuesday 7 April . The weather looks promising so join us for an hour of mindful qigong exercise, releasing the old and welcoming the new, slowing down, breathing deeply and enhancing the harmonious flow of qi. Practicing qigong anywhere feels good but outside in nature, with an enhanced sense of interconnectedness, feels extra special.  Returning home to the body brings us to the present moment, away from the busy mind and helps to soothe the nervous system as we reconnect with our inner peace and stillness and our naturual surroundings.

Outdoor Classes have resumed at Beechwood Park

Qigong feels great in nature surrounded by trees. It is both calming and energising and quickly brings us back to a sense of equilibrium. It is very grounding, releases stress and tension and develops a sense of inner peace and calm. Come along and experience it for yourselves. You will be made very welcome. Look out for the green chair! 10am near the top gates £5 per class

Inviting the Light – Poetry & Qigong

It was a great pleasure to work alongside award winning poet Patrick Jones at Plot 4 Coldra Road Allotments on 23 March. Thanks to The Place and Katie Keeble for inviting us to their plot. We welcomed the arrival of Spring by clearing the old to make way for the new and giving our minds and bodies a good spring clean!

Chinese Lunar New Year at Riverfront 2025
